(10.5.23) Carbon Culture: Hugelkultur and Beyond with Leigh and Shawn

This thought-provoking presentation explores ways to optimize and harvest water through soil building practices utilizing carbon – the foundation of all life on the planet. We will be discussing hugelkultur and other ways to bring raw materials (such as logs, greenwaste, cardboard, and other biodegradable materials) together, to catalyze bio-activity and support maximum water absorption. This is a concerted effort to reduce the need for supplemental water in the landscape, to re-build ecologies supporting habitat, and regreen our cities.
