An environmentally sensible façade garden space that separates L.A.’s Crescent Heights Plaza apartment building from a very busy thoroughfare.
DROUGHT-TOLERANT YET LUSH
After getting word that there were plans to replace the existing front landscape with artificial turf, we enlightened the building’s board and engaged them with our design for a lively, lush, and exciting drought-tolerant garden space to soften the hard architecture of the building.
CONSCIOUSLY CALIFORNIAN
With connecting drifts of both Mediterranean and California-native plant materials, the three divided spaces are connected by color, texture, and movement, which creates a welcoming visual flow and sense of relaxation upon entry to the building.
